Final Stated Communication at Winter Haven Masonic Temple

On Monday February 1st Winter Haven Lodge No. 186 will hold its FINAL Stated Communication at the Winter Haven Masonic Temple. As I'm sure many of you are already aware, last year the brothers of this lodge reluctantly voted to sell the lodge building due to financial costs. The building has been sold and the new owners have closed on the sale. Please come say goodbye to this grand old lodge one last time.

The Stated Communication will start at 7:30pm. Winter Haven Lodge No. 186 is located at 375 Avenue A SE in Winter Haven.

All future Stated and Called Communications as well as lodge events for Winter Haven Lodge No. 186 will be held at Travelers Lodge No. 390, 257 East Pomelo Street in Lake Alfred until a new lodge building can be purchased or built.

Important Announcement Regarding Adobe Flash and Our Website

Please be advised that on December 31, 2020, Adobe Inc. began the process of its End of Life (EOL) for its Flash video products including Internet browser plugins and the standalone player, they also permanently shutdown the Flash download portal. On January 12, 2021 Apple, Google, Microsoft and Opera updated their Internet browser products which permanently disabled support for Flash video files and as a result Flash files appear on this website may have appear broken and/or inaccessible.

In anticipation of the End of Life of the Adobe Flash products, our IT team immediately began the arduous task of removing all of the old .flv and .swf  files from the site and changing them over to newer formats including Apple's mp4 and Microsoft's Windows Media formats. We also began working on switching out all of the internal and external links to our third party video hosting service providers.

As of this post, there should no longer be any issues viewing any video posted on our site.

Due to copyright and anti-software piracy laws we cannot provide copies of any Flash files used on this website nor can web provide copies of the Flash standalone player.

Winter Haven Lodge No. 186 Installation of Officers For 2021 Video

On January 9th Winter Haven Lodge No. 186 held its FINAL installation of officers at its longtime Masonic Temple on Avenue A SE in Winter Haven. Due to rising costs of maintaining the building the craft voted to sell the building. Starting next month Winter Haven Lodge will be conducting its Stated and Called communications at Travelers Lodge No. 390 in Lake Alfred until a new lodge can be found or constructed. W:. Jerry Haynie the current Worshipful Master and W:. Dennis Wind the immediate Past Master would like to thank Bros. Dave Hulings our lodge Secretary and Bro. Rick Schwarz who coordinated to bring the live Zoom broadcast and produce the video shown below.

Lake Wales Lodge No. 242 Spaghetti Dinner

Lake Wales Lodge No. 242 will be hosting a Spaghetti dinner on Saturday February 20th from 4:30pm to 7:00pm. Eat-in and takeout will be available. The cost is $10 per person. Winter Haven Kitchenware Still Available

Brethren, Our building has been sold and we will not be able to keep and store many of the items that we have "gently' used over the years. These Caribe china place settings, fired in Puerto Rico many years ago, are in excellent condition. There are about 100 left and we have been asking for a donation of $5 for each setting but... time is running short and they need to find a new home quickly.
