Recognized North American Grand Masonic Jurisdictions

Grand Masonic Jurisdictions in North America which are amicable and fully recognized as regular by the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Florida. The recognition of a Masonic jurisdiction by Florida is subject to change at the sole discretion of the sitting Grand Master.

Important Notes
  • The Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Florida has full and amicable recognition of the Gran Lodgia de Cuba de A. L.Y.A.M. but due to a embargo and travel restrictions enacted against the Republic of Cuba, it is not possible to visit any recognized Cuban Masonic lodge except for the Grand Master and the Grand Line.
  • Caribbean Naval Lodge A.F. & A.M. which is located on Naval Station Guantanamo Bay Cuba is recognized by the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Florida by virtue of its charter issued by the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. However access to the lodge is restricted to Master Masons who are stationed at GTMO and/or who are invited guests of the U.S. Department of Defense and/or the U.S. Department of the Navy.
  • In 2018 at their respective Annual Grand Communications, the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Florida and the Most Worshipful Union Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons Prince Hall Affiliated, Florida, Belize and Central America duly voted to recognize each others Grand Jurisdictions, however visitation of lodges in either jurisdiction is not possible except for the Grand Master and Grand Lines of each jurisdiction. There are no general visitations permitted. The Grand Masters of both jurisdictions  have indicated a plan is in the works for full recognition and visitation rights.
