You are requested to attend our Stated Communication on September 16, 2023, We will be voting on two very important bylaw changes, please see below.

1. Due to a mishap, the Grand Lodge of Florida has our meeting times listed wrong in the digest and online. We will be voting to correct the meeting dates and times to the following:

1st Monday of each month at 7:30pm

3rd Saturday of each month at 9:00am

2. We have a proposed yearly dues reduction on the ballot, right now we are paying a total of $223.30 (Including Grand Lodge Per Capita and Masonic Home donation), we will have a discussion then vote on this topic.

Our meeting will be held at the Winter Haven Masonic Temple, 3596 Recker Highway, Winter Haven, Florida 33882

Masonic Funeral Request

We've received a request for a Masonic Funeral Service from the family of a Traveling Brother out of Texas, Bro. Charles Pierce Warren was a Brother from Dallas but his family doesn't know if he ever demitted to Florida. His son-in-law is a member of Lakeland Lodge No. 91 (Bro. Eddy Merritt). The service is scheduled for Saturday September 2nd at 11:00am (Gloves & Aprons at 10:30am) at the Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home Southside, 1727 Bartow Road in Lakeland.

Wauchula Lodge No. 17 Fellowcraft Degree

On Saturday, Wauchula Lodge was honored to host a Fellow Craft Degree. Congratulations to the brothers who were passed. A special thank you to Bro. David for his leadership in putting together a fun and meaningful degree.

Final 5 MLT Modules

On Friday, August 25th we will be teaching the final 5 modules of MLT. Modules 11 - 15. The class will be held at Frostproof Lodge No. 229 at 6:30pm. If any changes occur to venue or time, we will post the information on this website and on the Master Mason Association Facebook page.

Masonic Throwback Thursday - Winter Haven Masonic Temple

On February 1, 2021 the Brothers of Winter Haven Lodge No. 186 said their final goodbyes to their beloved Masonic temple on Avenue A SE which they called home for 60 years. Due to the economic conditions at the time including the cost of monthly utilities, property and building maintenance and insurance and the fact that the three story Masonic Temple was only being used two to three times a month, the difficult decision was made to sell the building and move to a new smaller location.

Bro. Rick Schwarz, an honorary member of Winter Haven did a walk through tour of the storied Masonic temple prior to the last Stated Communication, it originally appeared on this his YouTube channel and he has graciously given permission for it to be reposted on our district website.

Haines City Lodge No. 219 Important Announcement

Brethren,

Please advised that Haines City Lodge No. 219 is now meeting at the Lake Alfred Masonic Temple located at 260 East Pomelo Avenue in Lake Alfred. The former Haines City Masonic Temple in downtown Haines City has been sold so please DO NOT go to that location, trespass or attempt to enter the building as it is now private property that is no longer affiliated with Freemasonry.

Last night brothers from Lakeland lodge no 91 W Joe Rogers Bro SW Jasmin Grbic Bro JW Ryan Greiner attended stated meeting at Wauchula lodge no 17 and used the opportunity to present traveling crow . We would like to thank WM Paul Crothers and Brothers from Wauchula no17 for wonderful night of fellowship and amazing food that was prepared , dessert after stated was a cherry on the top!
