A
Declaration of a Local State of Emergency has been issued by the
Polk County Sheriff's Office that beginning at 8:00pm on June 1st until
5:00am on June 2nd a
COUNTYWIDE CURFEW
will be in effect for Polk County in its entirety. Therefore be it declared that
I, R:.W:. Anthony L. Pickren, District Deputy Grand Master of the 21st Masonic
District hereby order that all Stated and Called Communications as well as all
Masonic Events of lodges located in the Polk County portion of the 21st Masonic
District are hereby
CANCELLED and lodges are ordered
CLOSED until such time as the Declaration of a Local State of Emergency is
rescinded by the Polk County Sheriff's Office.
This Declaration of a
Local State of Emergncy
does not affect lodges which are located in Southern portion (Hardee and Highlands
counties) of the 21st Masonic District.
Please find attached to this
post the Declaration of a Local State of Emergency issued by the Polk County
Sheriff's Office.
