Sale of Winter Haven Lodge No. 186 Building

Brethren:

At last night's Stated Meeting the Craft of Winter Haven Lodge No. 186 voted to approve the sale of the building at 375 Avenue A SE, There is a contract on the building and the sale is final, we are just awaiting the legal paperwork.

We are projecting the closing date to be March, 1st, 2021 so the real work for all of us starts now, continuing to divest our building of items we will likely never use again and do not need to pay to store. For example but not limited to (suggested $ follows item) about 100 place settings of Caribe China dishware from Puerto Rico ($5 each), 90+ Theater seating from the Upper lodge Room ($10 each), The Organ from the lower Lodge room (you move it, you own it) that needs some cleaning and care, some file cabinets ($20 each) and other miscellaneous items that may pop up. Your church, business, social club, restaurant, doctors office or any community organization would be served well by these items so please pass this email around. We need to move on these items quickly Brothers so every reasonable offer will be considered.

We are going to be meeting in Lake Alfred at Travelers Lodge No. 390 for the foreseeable future on our regular dates and times after February but...we're searching for a reasonably priced building in or very near to Winter Haven city limits, or land on which to erect a new, smaller lodge building. In our case even a fairly large ranch style house is not out of the question. So please, as you move about in our area keep your eyes open for anything we might like to look at. There will be more updates as we progress with the cleaning out of the loge rooms.

The next meeting will be on Monday January 4th, 2021 at 7:30pm jacket and tie, in our current location. The date of our first meeting in Travelers Lodge will be announced soon. The installation of Lodge Officers will be on January 9th, 2021- Lunch at 11:30am, ceremony at 1:00pm.

Plan to attend Brothers, our time in this building is coming to a close soon.

W:. Dennis Wind, Worshipful Master, Winter Haven Lodge No. 186
