It's Official...
This
morning W:. Jerry Haynie, Worshipful Master of Winter Haven Lodge No. 186 and
Bro. Chuck Hicks, Senior Warden finalized the purchase of a building for
Winter Haven Lodge No. 186. The new lodge will be located at 3596 Recker
Highway in Winter Haven near Spirit Lake Road. There is going to be
reconstruction on the property to conform to Masonic requirements over the
next several months.
Construction is expected to start sometime during the first quarter of 2022,
during this time Winter Haven Lodge No. 186
will continue to meet at the Lake Alfred Masonic Temple, 260 East Pomelo
Street, Lake Alfred, FL 33850
on the 1st Saturday at 9:00am and 3rd Monday at 7:30pm.
While
Winter Haven Lodge has ownership of the property because of insurance concerns
especially during the construction period,
Brothers are asked not to visit the site until it is officially opened.
