40 Year Pin and Certificate / Return of Master Mason Catechism

It was a very busy night on Monday at Lake Wales Lodge No. 242, First a 40 year pin and certificate was presented to W:. Aldine Rowell and then Bro. Shawn Perkins, Lake Wales' Senior Steward returned his Master Mason Catechism. Congratulations to both W:. Rowell and Bro. Perkins.

Lakeland Lodge No. 91 Entered Apprentice Degree

On Saturday April 30th, Lakeland Lodge No. 91 with Kathleen Lodge No. 338 will hold an Entered Apprentice Degree with coffee and donuts served at 8:00am and degree work to follow at 9:00am.

Brethren of all three degree (Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft and Master Mason) who are in good standing are cordially invited. First time visitor please make sure you have your current lodge dues or Circumscribe cards on hand so that your membership is verified and you are admitted properly.

Funeral Team Request - Bro. James Schrader

We've received a request for a funeral for Bro. James Schrader of Kathleen Lodge No. 338. The entire viewing and service will take place at Kathleen Lodge, 3933 1st Street NW in Kathleen on Monday April 25th with the viewing from 2:00pm to 3:00pm and the service at 3:00pm (Gloves and Apron at 2:30pm). Awards Presentation at Wauchula Lodge No. 17

One of the best things about being a Masonic Worshipful Master is when I get to give awards to those Brothers who put in the work to help make our lodge successful and thriving not only for ourselves but for our community. Monday night was just such a night, pictured with me is R:.W:. Rick Knight holding his personal award plaque for achieving excellence in the Public Education and Citizenship that he earned in 2019 when he was the Worshipful Master. He helped to continue our sponsorship of the local Senior High School's AFJROTC program with the Grand Lodge Outstanding Cadet Certificate program that I administered that year and still do to this day. Thank you R:.W:. Knight for your leadership and continued support. You more than earned this honor.

Winter Haven Lodge No. 186 Time Capsule Opened

On March 7th, Worshipful Master Dennis Wind and the Brethren of Winter Haven Lodge No. 186 removed and opened the content of the time capsules which had been buried behind the Cornerstone at the former Winter Haven Masonic Temple on Avenue A SE for over 60 years. Due to the capsules being buried for so long and not being properly protected from the elements, a number of the items became deteriorated and care had to be taken when removing the contents from the capsules.

Funeral Team Request - Brother Jimmy H. Hopper

Brethren,

We have received a request for a Graveside Masonic Services for Brother Jimmy H. Hopper of Lakeland Lodge No. 91. The service will be held this Wednesday April 13th, probably around 1:30pm (The exact time is TBD). The family will have a church service at the Scott Lake Baptist Church, 5811 Scott Lake Road in Lakeland at 11:00am with a lunch to follow. Bro. Hopper will be interred at Lakeland Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (South) located at 2125 Bartow Road in Lakeland.
