Brethren it has come to my attention from W:. Dennis Wind, Past Master of Winter
Haven Lodge No. 186 that there is an email and SMS text messages (See image
below) is purportedly from W:. Tim Ellis the current Worshipful Master of Winter
Haven Lodge No. 186 asking Brothers to purchase gift cards and you will be
reimbursed, this my Brothers is a
SCAM! DO NOT REPLY! to either
the email or SMS Text and more importantly
DO NOT PURCHASE any
gift cards.
Update (3:35pm) Just receive another message that there
has also been email and SMS texts going out purported to be from other lodges in
the 21st Masonic District so please be careful.
