In this video tour, we step inside the historic home of Tuscan Lodge No. 6, F.
& A. M., and take a look at a building that reflects the history,
traditions, and fellowship of Freemasonry in Central Florida.
Tuscan
Lodge No. 6 was chartered on January 18, 1883, giving the lodge a history that
stretches back well over a century. Generations of Masons have passed through
its doors to participate in the degrees, conduct the business of the lodge,
enjoy fellowship, and serve their community.
For Masons, a lodge
building is more than just a place to hold meetings. It is where friendships are
formed, lessons are taught, traditions are passed from one generation to the
next, and memories are made. Historic temples such as this one also provide a
tangible connection to the brothers who came before us.
As you watch
the tour, take a moment to appreciate the architecture, craftsmanship, lodge
room, and other details that give the Bartow Masonic Temple its unique
character.
