Grand Master Directive No. 1
Brethren, This afternoon M:.W:. Thomas L. Turlington, Jr., Grand Master of the
Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons in the State of Florida
issued Directive No. 1 regarding the reopening of this Grand Jurisdiction. Take
Due notice thereof and govern yourself accordingly.
The 21st Masonic District website turns 1 year old
Today marks the first anniversary of the official launch of the 21st Masonic District's official website. The brain child of Bro. Rick Schwarz of Lake Wales Lodge No. 242 he approached R:.W:. John R. Miller the District Deputy Grand Master for permission to create the site, R:.W:. Miller without any hesitation gave Bro. Schwarz permission.
In the first year that this site has been in operation it has received thousands of visitors from across the United States and the world, many of whom came back again and again for updated information or looking for a lodge to petition or visit.

Annual Grand Communication Important Announcements
The Grand Lodge in Jacksonville will be operating with a skeleton staff, there will be someone there to answer the phone, however all requests to the Grand Master, the Grand Secretary or the Grand Lodge staff will not be able to responded to immediately (with the exception a true emergency) until after the Annual Grand Communication.
The office of the 21st Masonic District including the District Deputy Grand Master and the 21st Masonic District Master Masons Association will be closed until June 1st, if you have an urgent matter or emergency please email urgent@21stmasonicdistrict.com and we will respond ASAP.
Masonic lodges in the district which hold their second Stated Communication on a day during the fourth week of May will presumably be dark (No Stated Communication) due to the Annual Grand Communication. Please speak to the lodge secretary or consult the lodge's Trestle Board, website or social media outlet (Facebook, Twitter) to confirm the date and time of the lodge's next scheduled Stated Communication.

Please see the attached Executive Order from the Grand Master canceling the
191st Annual Grand Communication. DO NOT call the Rosen Plaza Hotel to
cancel reservations as the hotel will cancel all reservations in our
contracted block. More information concerning online/written balloting will
follow soon. Also attached is Directive No. 5 concerning the balloting for
the Grand Lodge Officers and the 2020-2021 Proposed Budget.
The Written Ballots and instructions for Electronic Voting were mailed out
to the voting Delegates on Friday, May 15, 2020. Electronic Balloting will
OPEN on May 25, 2020 and CLOSE on May 27, 2020. Please note that if you vote
electronically please DO NOT return your paper ballot.
Due to the threat of the Coronavirus, all Board Meetings are being held via
tele/video conferencing until further notice. We cannot afford to bring any
serious illnesses to the Masonic Home and risk the health and safety of our
residents as well as our Masonic Home Staff.

service, please use 904-354-2339 to contact our office.
Red Books are currently out of stock; however, are in production. We will

Informal Masonic Get Together
For brothers who are feeling the withdrawal of not having the ability to go to lodge or interact with their fellow brethren, W:, Bert Leach of Lakeland Lodge No. 91 has organized a weekly non-tyled video conference on the Zoom platform. We meet every Friday from 8:30pm until whenever. If you are interested in joining please see the 21st Masonic District Master Masons Association Facebook page for connection information. Thank you brothers...
As the 21st Masonic District prepares for the new Masonic year its time to refresh and renew our website and we wanted to let you that the following will be happening.
From May 21st until May 31st we will be temporarily shutting down our servers for maintenance and the website will not be accessible during this time. Next, we'll be moving all of the posts articles and media from the previous Masonic year offline to the 21st Masonic District's digital archives and they will no longer be publicly accessible.
On June 1st all lodges in the district resume operation, our website publicly reopens.
In closing I'd like to first thank M:.W:. John W. Westerman III for asking me to serve as your District Deputy Grand Master and thank you to all of the Worshipful Masters, Lodge Secretaries and the brothers of the 21st Masonic District for making this a very successful Masonic year and of course a HUGE thank you to all of my District Committeemen for taking time out of their busy schedule to serve the fraternity, they are R:.W:.
